Songzhen LI, Tianhang SHAO, Shuyang YAO

TL;DR
This paper reviews the current understanding and treatment of oligometastasis in non-small cell lung cancer, focusing on its unique biology and potential for cure.
Contribution
The paper provides a comprehensive overview of the definition, treatment advances, and challenges in NSCLC oligometastasis.
Findings
Oligometastasis represents a transitional state with limited tumor burden and distinct biological behavior.
Combination of systemic and local therapies offers potential for cure in selected patients.
Molecular targeted therapy and immunotherapy are transforming treatment approaches.
