TL;DR
A rare case of non-nodal mantle cell lymphoma misdiagnosed as chronic lymphocytic leukemia highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis and cautious treatment.
Contribution
Highlights the clinical management of nnMCL with TP53 mutation through a case report and literature review.
Findings
nnMCL can present as an indolent disease despite TP53 mutations.
Misdiagnosis as CLL can lead to inappropriate treatment decisions.
Observation may be preferable to immediate treatment in selected nnMCL cases.
