Blueshift and Phase tunability in planar metamaterials with toroidal contribution
Maria V.Cojocari, Kristina Schegoleva, Alexey A. Basharin

TL;DR
This paper introduces a tunable THz metamaterial model that leverages toroidal excitation to achieve resonance blueshift and phase control in planar metallic structures with silicon inclusions.
Contribution
It presents a novel approach to phase and resonance tuning in planar metamaterials through toroidal excitation and silicon inclusions, enabling dynamic control.
Findings
Resonance blueshift achieved via toroidal excitation.
Phase tunability demonstrated in the proposed metamaterials.
Enhanced control over THz wave properties.
Abstract
We propose a model of tunable THz metamaterials. The main advantage is the blueshift of resonance and phase tunability due to toroidal excitation in planar metallic metamolecules with incorporated silicon inductive inclusions.
