A selfadjoint variant of the time operator
R. de la Madrid, J.M. Isidro

TL;DR
This paper explores a selfadjoint version of the time operator in quantum mechanics, clarifying its mathematical properties and interpretation.
Contribution
It introduces and analyzes a selfadjoint variant of the time operator, addressing previous non-selfadjoint formulations.
Findings
The operator is selfadjoint and mathematically well-defined.
It provides a new perspective on the time operator in quantum theory.
The interpretation of the time operator is clarified.
Abstract
We study the selfadjoint time operator recently constructed by one of the authors. We will show that this time operator must be interpreted as a ``selfadjoint variant'' of the time operator.
