Towards Deformed Chiral Algebras
Edward Frenkel, Nikolai Reshetikhin

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel algebraic framework called deformed chiral algebra, inspired by deformed W-algebras, to better understand the structure of deformed Virasoro algebra.
Contribution
It proposes the concept of deformed chiral algebra, providing a new mathematical tool for analyzing deformed algebraic structures in conformal field theory.
Findings
New algebraic structure called deformed chiral algebra introduced.
Provides insights into the structure of deformed Virasoro algebra.
Lays groundwork for further exploration of deformed W-algebras.
Abstract
We describe a new algebraic structure of "deformed chiral algebra" motivated by the study of the deformed W-algebras. We use it to gain some insights into the deformed Virasoro algebra.
