TL;DR
This paper details the development and spectral analysis of a pyroelectric X-ray generator using LiNbO3, examining how temperature variations affect the X-ray spectra with different targets.
Contribution
It introduces a pyroelectric X-ray generator and provides spectral measurements across temperature changes, highlighting the relationship between crystal temperature and X-ray energy.
Findings
Maximum X-ray energy varies with crystal temperature.
Spectral properties depend on target material and temperature.
The generator's spectral characteristics are characterized during heating and cooling.
Abstract
The construction of X-ray generator based on a pyroelectric crystal LiNbO3 is described. Some properties of radiation spectra from the X-ray generator are presented. Measurements of the spectra were performed at heating and cooling of the crystal with copper and chromium targets. The maximum energy in the X-ray spectrum versus crystal temperature is presented.
