H.W. Barz, B. Kampfer, Gy. Wolf, M. Zetenyi

TL;DR
This paper uses a BUU transport model to interpret di-electron spectra from carbon collisions, focusing on how broad meson resonances propagate after baryon decays.
Contribution
It introduces a method to incorporate broad meson resonance propagation into a BUU transport model for di-electron production analysis.
Findings
Successful modeling of di-electron spectra with resonance propagation
Enhanced understanding of meson resonance effects in nuclear reactions
Agreement with experimental data from HADES
Abstract
We apply a BUU type transport model for the interpretation of the di-electron invariant mass spectrum measured by the HADES collaboration for the reaction C(2 AGeV) + C. Our model incorporates the propagation of broad meson resonances emerging from the decay of baryon resonances.
