Macroscopic parameters of Fokker-Planck flows
Igor A. Tanski

TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of solutions to the Fokker-Planck equation within continuum mechanics, demonstrating that average quantities follow equations similar to isothermal viscous gas motion.
Contribution
It introduces a novel connection between Fokker-Planck solutions and macroscopic equations of viscous gas dynamics in continuum mechanics.
Findings
Average quantities satisfy isothermal viscous gas equations
Solutions exhibit properties analogous to viscous ideal gas motion
Provides a new perspective on Fokker-Planck solutions in continuum mechanics
Abstract
The aim of this work is to investigate properties of solutions of Fokker - Planck equation in the context of continuum mechanics. We show that average quantities, calculated for these solutions approximately satisfy equations of isothermal motion of viscous ideal gas.
