(P,Q)-Special Functions
R. Jagannathan (The Inst. Math. Sciences, India)

TL;DR
This paper introduces a generalized (P,Q)-hypergeometric series framework, extending the (p,q)-hypergeometric series previously studied, and explores its theoretical implications in special functions.
Contribution
It proposes a broader (P,Q)-hypergeometric series that encompasses the (p,q)-series as a special case, advancing the theoretical understanding of hypergeometric functions.
Findings
(P,Q)-hypergeometric series generalizes (p,q)-series
Establishes connections between different hypergeometric series
Provides a unified framework for special functions
Abstract
It is suggested that the (p,q)-hypergeometric series studied by Burban and Klimyk (in Integral Transforms and Special Functions, 2 (1994) 15 - 36) can be considered as a special case of a more general (P,Q)-hypergeometric series.
