New examples of modular rigid Calabi-Yau threefolds
Matthias Schuett

TL;DR
This paper introduces five new examples of modular rigid Calabi-Yau threefolds derived from a specific elliptic surface, establishing explicit links to newforms of certain weights and levels, enriching the classification of such geometric objects.
Contribution
The paper provides five novel examples of modular rigid Calabi-Yau threefolds with explicit correspondences to newforms, expanding the known landscape of these geometric structures.
Findings
Five new modular rigid Calabi-Yau threefolds identified.
Explicit correspondences to newforms of specified levels established.
Enhances understanding of the relationship between Calabi-Yau threefolds and modular forms.
Abstract
This paper presents five new examples of modular rigid Calabi-Yau threefolds arising from the modular elliptic surface of level 6. Explicit correspondences to newforms of weight 4 and level 10, 17, 21, and 73 are given.
