Locus of indeterminacy of the Prym map
Vitaly Vologodsky

TL;DR
This paper characterizes the indeterminacy locus of the Prym map using dual graphs of stable curves and relates it to the Fridman-Smith locus, providing insights into the map's behavior on degenerations.
Contribution
It offers a simple characterization of the Prym map's indeterminacy locus and links it to the closure of the Fridman-Smith locus.
Findings
The indeterminacy locus can be described via dual graphs of stable curves.
The closure of the Fridman-Smith locus coincides with the Prym map's indeterminacy locus.
Abstract
We provide an easy characterization for the locus of indeterminacy of the Prym map in terms of the dual graphs of stable curves. As a corollary, we show that the closure of the Fridman-Smith locus coincides with the locus of indeterminacy of the Prym map.
