Thermodynamics and Universality for Mean Field Quantum Spin Glasses
Nick Crawford

TL;DR
This paper explores the thermodynamic properties of quantum spin glasses, adapting classical analysis methods to quantum models using the Lie-Trotter formula to understand their universal behaviors.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to analyze quantum spin glasses by extending classical methods with the Lie-Trotter formula, revealing thermodynamic insights.
Findings
Adaptation of classical spin glass analysis to quantum models.
Application of Lie-Trotter formula in quantum thermodynamics.
Insights into universality in quantum spin glasses.
Abstract
We study aspects of the thermodynamics of quantum versions of spin glasses. By means of the Lie-Trotter formula for exponential sums of operators, we adapt methods used to analyze classical spin glass models to answer analogous questions about quantum models.
