TL;DR
This paper investigates the cycle lengths in the Feynman-Kac representation of the Bose gas, exploring their connection to Bose-Einstein condensation and the emergence of infinite cycles.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the relationship between cycle structure and phase transition in the Bose gas.
Findings
Identification of conditions for infinite cycle formation
Relation between cycle lengths and Bose-Einstein condensation
Analysis of trajectory cycle distributions
Abstract
We study the lengths of the cycles formed by trajectories in the Feynman-Kac representation of the Bose gas. We discuss the occurrence of infinite cycles and their relation to Bose-Einstein condensation.
