Jean-Marie Barbaroux, Helmut Linde, Semjon Vugalter

TL;DR
This paper provides quantitative lower bounds on how a quantized radiation field enhances the binding energy of a quantum particle in a short-range potential.
Contribution
It introduces new estimates for the binding threshold shift caused by particle-radiation interactions in quantum systems.
Findings
Lower bounds on binding threshold shift established
Quantitative analysis of radiation field effects
Improved understanding of particle-field interactions
Abstract
For a quantum particle interacting with a short-range potential, we estimate from below the shift of its binding threshold, which is due to the particle interaction with a quantized radiation field.
