TL;DR
This paper characterizes the minimizers of the Cahn Hilliard free energy functional, precisely determining the critical density at which droplet formation occurs in a condensation model.
Contribution
It provides an exact characterization of minimizers and the critical density for droplet formation in the Cahn Hilliard based condensation model.
Findings
Exact determination of droplet formation critical density
Characterization of minimizers in the model
Theoretical proof of minimizer properties
Abstract
We prove theorem characterizing the minimizers in a model for condensation based on the Cahn Hilliard free energy functional. In particular, we exactly determine the critical density for droplet formation.
