Magnetostriction Transition
Senya Shlosman, Valentin Zagrebnov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a non mean-field model demonstrating a magnetostriction phase transition where a crystal sharply contracts and magnetizes below a critical temperature.
Contribution
It proposes a novel non mean-field model capturing the magnetostriction transition, differing from traditional mean-field approaches.
Findings
The model exhibits a sharp contraction at the transition temperature.
The crystal becomes magnetized below the critical temperature.
The transition is characterized by a sudden change in physical properties.
Abstract
We present a non mean-field model which undergoes a magnetostriction phase transition in the temperature. That is, the crystal becomes sharply contracted and magnetized once the temperature passes below the critical value
