Global Small Solutions of the Vlasov-Maxwell System in the Absence of Incoming Radiation
Simone Calogero

TL;DR
This paper proves the global existence of solutions for a modified Vlasov-Maxwell system with retarded fields, demonstrating a model that excludes incoming radiation for small particle numbers.
Contribution
It introduces a modified Vlasov-Maxwell system using retarded fields and establishes global solutions without incoming radiation for small particle configurations.
Findings
Solutions exist globally for small particle numbers
The system models a scenario without incoming radiation
Retarded fields replace standard Maxwell fields
Abstract
We consider a modified version of the Vlasov-Maxwell system in which the usual Maxwell fields are replaced by their retarded parts. We show that solutions of this modified system exist globally for a small number of particles and that they describe a system without incoming radiation
