Deformation of the J-matrix method of scattering
A. D. Alhaidari

TL;DR
This paper extends the nonrelativistic J-matrix scattering method by introducing a one-parameter linear deformation to incorporate complex physical effects such as singular ground state couplings.
Contribution
It presents a novel deformation of the J-matrix method to better model physical systems with nontrivial ground state interactions.
Findings
Enhanced the J-matrix method with a linear deformation parameter
Demonstrated the method's ability to handle singular ground state couplings
Provided a framework for more accurate scattering calculations
Abstract
We construct nonrelativistic J-matrix theory of scattering for a system whose reference Hamiltonian is enhanced by one-parameter linear deformation to account for nontrivial physical effects that could be modeled by a singular ground state coupling.
