Numerically efficient version of the T-matrix method
A.G.Ramm

TL;DR
This paper introduces a numerically efficient projection method for solving acoustic and electromagnetic wave scattering problems, improving computational stability and efficiency over previous approaches.
Contribution
It presents a new version of the T-matrix method that avoids ill-conditioning, enhancing numerical performance in wave scattering computations.
Findings
Matrix is not ill-conditioned, leading to better numerical stability.
Method is more efficient than previous projection methods.
Applicable to acoustic and electromagnetic wave scattering.
Abstract
A version of the projection method for solving the scattering problem for acoustic and electromagnetic waves is proposed and shown to be more efficient numerically than the earlier ones because the corresponding matrix is not ill-conditioned.
