Monopoles in non-Abelian Einstein-Born-Infeld Theory
Prasanta K. Tripathy, Fidel A. Schaposnik

TL;DR
This paper investigates monopole solutions in a non-Abelian Einstein-Born-Infeld-Higgs model, revealing their existence limits related to gravitational strength and Born-Infeld parameter, and comparing different trace structures.
Contribution
It provides the first analysis of monopoles in the non-Abelian Einstein-Born-Infeld-Higgs model with normal trace, highlighting their existence constraints and similarities to flat space solutions.
Findings
Monopoles exist only up to a critical gravitational coupling.
Existence depends on the Born-Infeld parameter .
Solutions are similar to flat space monopoles with trace structure differences.
Abstract
We study static spherically symmetric monopole solutions in non-Abelian Einstein-Born-Infeld-Higgs model with normal trace structure. These monopoles are similar to the corresponding solution with symmetrised trace structure and are existing only up to some critical value of the strength of the gravitational interaction. In addition, similar to their flat space counterpart, they also admit a critical value of the Born-Infeld parameter .
