On the generalized Legendre transform and monopole metrics
C.J. Houghton

TL;DR
This paper explores the connection between the generalized Legendre transform and monopole metrics by deriving the relevant function from twistor theory, enhancing understanding of hyperkähler geometry.
Contribution
It calculates the specific function linking the Kaehler potential to monopole metrics using twistor theory, advancing the mathematical framework.
Findings
Derived the function relating Kaehler potential to monopole metrics.
Connected twistor theory with the generalized Legendre transform.
Enhanced understanding of monopole metric structures.
Abstract
In the generalized Legendre transform construction the Kaehler potential is related to a particular function. Here, the form of this function appropriate to the monopole metric is calculated from the known twistor theory of monopoles.
