Contribution
It provides a detailed description of vortex excitation modes in the Abelian Higgs model and compares numerical results with recent analytical solutions, enhancing theoretical understanding.
Findings
Identification of three main vortex oscillation modes
Comparison of numerical and analytical results
Insights into vortex dynamics in the Abelian Higgs model
Abstract
The excitations of the vortex in Abelian Higgs model with small ratio of vector and Higgs particle masses are considered. Three main modes encountered in numerical computations are described in detail. They are also compared to analytic results obtained recently by Arodz and Hadasz.
