Contribution
It introduces a novel application of Eichler integrals with poles to String Theory scattering amplitude calculations.
Findings
Eichler integrals can be used for string scattering calculations.
New examples of Eichler integrals with poles are constructed.
Potential for mathematical tools to advance string theory computations.
Abstract
In this article, it is shown how to obtain objects called Eichler integrals in the mathematical literature that can be used for calculating scattering amplitudes in String Theory. These Eichler integrals are also new examples of Eichler integrals with poles.
