Localized Gravity on Branes in anti-de Sitter Spaces
Edi Halyo

TL;DR
This paper investigates the conditions necessary for four-dimensional gravity to be localized on domain walls within five-dimensional anti-de Sitter spaces, emphasizing the importance of wall position, tension, and source type.
Contribution
It identifies specific geometric and physical conditions, such as wall placement and tension, that enable gravity localization in AdS spaces, advancing understanding of brane-world scenarios.
Findings
Gravity is localized if the wall is at a finite distance from the AdS boundary.
The wall must have finite tension and act as a delta-function gravity source.
Localization depends on the decoupling limits of the gravitational modes.
Abstract
We discuss the conditions under which 4D gravity is localized on domain walls in 5D anti-de Sitter spaces. Our approach is based on considering the limits in which the localized gravity decouples. We find that gravity is localized if the wall is located a finite distance from the boundary of the anti-de Sitter space and has a finite tension. In addition, it has to be a -function source of gravity.
