Mohsen Alishahiha, Yaron Oz

TL;DR
This paper explores N=2 superconformal theories in four dimensions with BPS string solitons, using AdS/CFT duality to analyze their properties derived from M5 brane configurations.
Contribution
It introduces a dual supergravity approach to study BPS strings in 4D N=2 superconformal theories from M5 brane intersections, revealing new insights into their properties.
Findings
Identification of BPS string solitons in the theories
Application of AdS/CFT to analyze soliton properties
Insights into tensionless string behavior
Abstract
We consider N=2 superconformal theories defined on a 3+1 dimensional hyperplane intersection of two sets of M5 branes. These theories have (tensionless) BPS string solitons. We use a dual supergravity formulation to deduce some of their properties via the AdS/CFT correspondence.
