TL;DR
This paper critically examines claims that adding a Pauli term in (2+1) dimensions introduces a novel anomalous spin, revealing contradictions with Lorentz group structure.
Contribution
It clarifies the inconsistency of the proposed anomalous spin term with fundamental Lorentz symmetry in (2+1) dimensions.
Findings
The proposed anomalous spin term contradicts Lorentz group relations.
The analysis challenges previous claims about new spin contributions.
The structure of spin terms must align with Lorentz symmetry principles.
Abstract
It has recently been claimed that the inclusion of a Pauli term in (2+1) dimensions gives rise to a new type of anomalous spin term. The form of that term is shown to contradict the structure relations for the inhomogeneous Lorentz group.
