Dirac Quantization of Open Strings and Noncommutativity in Branes
F. Ardalan, H. Arfaei, M.M. Sheikh-Jabbari

TL;DR
This paper applies Dirac bracket quantization to open strings on branes with background fields, revealing inherent noncommutativity in brane coordinates, which enhances understanding of string-brane interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a Dirac bracket quantization method to demonstrate noncommutativity in brane coordinates due to background fields.
Findings
Noncommutativity arises naturally in brane coordinates
Dirac bracket quantization effectively captures this noncommutativity
Provides a framework for analyzing string-brane interactions
Abstract
We apply the Dirac bracket quantization to open strings attached to branes in the presence of background antisymmetric field and recover an inherent noncommutativity in the internal coordinates of the brane.
