TL;DR
This paper investigates quantum Kaluza-Klein compactification using perturbation theory and introduces a renormalisation group approach to understand how the coupling constant varies with compactification size.
Contribution
It presents a novel perturbative analysis of quantum Kaluza-Klein compactification and proposes a renormalisation group framework for coupling constant dependence on compactification size.
Findings
Renormalisation group equations for compactification size
Dependence of coupling constants on compactification scale
Perturbative insights into quantum effects in extra dimensions
Abstract
Kaluza--Klein compactification in quantum field theory is analysed from the perturbation theory viewpoint. Renormalisation group analysis for compactification size dependence of the coupling constant is proposed.
