Holography for Coset Spaces
Ruth Britto-Pacumio, Andrew Strominger, Anastasia Volovich

TL;DR
This paper explores holographic dualities for noncompact coset spaces in string theory, proposing boundary conformal field theories and analyzing new features due to degenerate boundary metrics.
Contribution
It introduces holographic descriptions for a class of noncompact coset spaces, extending AdS/CFT concepts to spaces with degenerate boundary metrics.
Findings
Holographic duals are proposed for specific noncompact coset spaces.
Degenerate boundary metrics lead to qualitatively new holographic features.
Examples include spaces with and without supersymmetry.
Abstract
M/string theory on noncompact, negatively curved, cosets which generalize is considered. Holographic descriptions in terms of a conformal field theory on the boundary of the spacetime are proposed. Examples include , which is a Euclidean signature (4,0) space with no supersymmetry, and and , which are Lorentzian signature (4,1) and (6,1) spaces with eight supersymmetries. Qualitatively new features arise due to the degenerate nature of the conformal boundary metric.
