Ramond-Ramond couplings of non-BPS D-branes
Marco Billo', Ben Craps, Frederik Roose

TL;DR
This paper investigates how non-BPS D-branes in type II string theory couple to Ramond-Ramond potentials and shows that tachyon condensation leads to the Wess-Zumino action characteristic of BPS D-branes.
Contribution
It demonstrates the coupling mechanisms of non-BPS D-branes to R-R potentials and derives the resulting Wess-Zumino action after tachyon condensation.
Findings
Non-BPS D-branes couple to R-R potentials.
Tachyon condensation yields the BPS D-brane Wess-Zumino action.
Provides insight into the transition from non-BPS to BPS D-branes.
Abstract
We study how non-BPS type II D-branes couple to R-R potentials. Upon tachyon condensation the couplings we find give rise to the Wess-Zumino action of BPS D-branes.
