Shiraz Minwalla, Nathan Seiberg

TL;DR
This paper investigates the supergravity description of coincident IIA NS5-branes at large N, revealing non-vanishing graviton absorption at zero coupling and analyzing the stress tensor correlator holographically.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the absorption cross section and stress tensor correlator for IIA NS5-branes using supergravity and holography, especially at large N.
Findings
Absorption cross section remains non-zero at zero string coupling for certain energies.
Derived a holographic expression for the stress energy tensor two-point function.
Commented on the structure of the stress tensor correlator in the NS5-brane theory.
Abstract
We study coincident IIA NS5-branes at large using supergravity. We show that the absorption cross section for gravitons in this background does not vanish at zero string coupling for energies larger than ( is the string scale). Using a holographic description of the intrinsic theory of the IIA NS5-branes, we find an expression for the two point function of the stress energy tensor, and comment on its structure.
