TL;DR
This paper studies type IIB superstrings using a supersymmetric matrix model that discretizes the action, maintaining local N=2 supersymmetry without redundant fermionic degrees of freedom.
Contribution
It introduces a discretized superstring action based on a supersymmetric matrix model with local N=2 invariance, providing a new constructive approach.
Findings
The action is invariant under local N=2 super transformations.
The model avoids redundant fermionic degrees of freedom.
Provides a framework for non-perturbative superstring analysis.
Abstract
We consider random superstrings of type IIB in -dimensional space. The discretized action is constructed from the supersymetric matrix model, which has been proposed as a constructive definition of superstring theory. Our action is invariant under the local N=2 super transformations, and doesn't have any redundant fermionic degrees of freedom.
