Conformal N=0 d=4 Gauge Theories from AdS/CFT Superstring Duality?
Paul H. Frampton, William F. Shively

TL;DR
This paper catalogs non-supersymmetric four-dimensional gauge theories derived from superstring duality, identifying those with potential conformal invariance based on their beta-functions.
Contribution
It systematically identifies and analyzes non-supersymmetric gauge theories from AdS/CFT duality with potential conformal behavior, expanding the understanding of gauge/string correspondence.
Findings
Several theories have vanishing two-loop beta-functions.
Potential conformal field theories are identified among the cataloged models.
Theories are derived from superstring duality on specific orbifold backgrounds.
Abstract
Non-supersymmetric d=4 gauge theories which arise from superstring duality on a manifold are cataloged for a range . A number have vanishing two-loop gauge \beta-function, a necessary but not sufficient condition to be a conformal field theory.
