Won Tae Kim, John J. Oh, and Jung Hee Park

TL;DR
This paper calculates the absorption cross section of scalar fields in a two-dimensional AdS black hole background, revealing that massless scalar fields do not produce Hawking radiation in this setting.
Contribution
It provides a specific calculation of the absorption coefficient for scalar fields in 2D AdS black holes, highlighting the absence of massless radiation.
Findings
Massless scalar fields do not radiate in this background.
The absorption coefficient was explicitly computed.
Implications for Hawking radiation in 2D AdS black holes.
Abstract
We calculate the absorption coefficient of scalar field on the background of the two-dimensional AdS black hole, which is of relevance to Hawking radiation. For the massless scalar field, we find that there does not exist any massless radiation.
