Brane Actions and String Dualities
Eduardo Eyras, Yolanda Lozano

TL;DR
This paper proposes an effective action for the M9-brane and explores its relationships with other branes through dualities, revealing new brane actions beyond traditional superalgebra predictions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel effective action for the M9-brane and uncovers brane actions not predicted by Type II superalgebra central charges.
Findings
Derived an effective M9-brane action.
Identified new brane actions via dualities.
Extended understanding of brane relationships.
Abstract
An effective action for the M9-brane is proposed. We study its relation with other branes via dualities. Among these, we find actions for branes which are not suggested by the central charges of the Type II superalgebras.
