Bayram Tekin

TL;DR
This paper explores monopole-instanton solutions in three-dimensional Euclidean gravity using the dreibein-spin connection formalism, solving equations of motion and identifying a two-dimensional solution with zero action.
Contribution
It introduces monopole-instanton ansatz solutions in 3D gravity and explicitly solves the equations of motion within this formalism, highlighting a novel zero-action two-dimensional solution.
Findings
Explicit monopole-instanton solutions in 3D gravity
Identification of a two-dimensional solution with zero action
Advancement in understanding non-perturbative effects in 3D gravity
Abstract
Three dimensional Euclidean gravity in the dreibein-spin connection formalism is investigated. We use the monopole-instanton ansatz for the dreibein and the spin connection. The equations of motion are solved. We point out a two dimensional solution with a vanishing action.
