(p,q)-strings and New Spacetime Superalgebras
M. Sakaguchi

TL;DR
This paper develops a geometric framework for $(p,q)$-strings using superalgebras and supersymmetric currents, revealing new structures in spacetime superalgebras and their relation to duality symmetries.
Contribution
It introduces a supergroup manifold formulation for $(p,q)$-strings, incorporating $Sl(2;Z)$ symmetry and extending to higher $p$-branes.
Findings
Constructed $Sl(2;Z)$-doublet of gauge potentials as second order in supersymmetric currents.
Defined a superalgebra with fermionic generators transforming under $Sl(2;Z)$.
Discussed generalizations to higher-dimensional $p$-branes.
Abstract
We present a geometric formulation of -strings in which the -doublet of the two-form gauge potentials is constructed as second order in the supersymmetric currents. The currents are constructed using a supergroup manifold corresponding to the -string superalgebra, which contains fermionic generators in addition to the supercharges and transforms under the . The properties of the superalgebra and the generalizations to higher -branes are discussed.
