Consistent, covariant and multiplicative anomalies
Guido Cognola, Sergio Zerbini

TL;DR
This paper explores the relationship between the multiplicative anomaly in the vector-axial-vector model and the established consistent and covariant anomalies, revealing a fundamental connection despite initial appearances.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the multiplicative anomaly is fundamentally related to the consistent and covariant anomalies in quantum field theory.
Findings
The multiplicative anomaly is linked to the consistent anomaly.
The multiplicative anomaly is related to the covariant anomaly.
The anomaly connection is independent of classical symmetry breaking.
Abstract
It is shown that the multiplicative anomaly in the vector-axial-vector model, which apparently has nothing to do with the breaking of classical current symmetries, nevertheless is strictly related to the well known consistent and covariant anomalies.
