Constraints on Higher Derivative Operators in Maximally Supersymmetric Gauge Theory
David A. Lowe, Rikard von Unge

TL;DR
This paper investigates the leading irrelevant operators in N=4 supersymmetric SU(N) gauge theory, demonstrating their one-loop exactness and providing explicit computations, thereby advancing understanding of higher derivative effects in supersymmetric gauge theories.
Contribution
It extends previous SU(2) results to SU(N), explicitly computes the operators, and argues for their one-loop exactness in N=4 supersymmetric gauge theory.
Findings
Operators are one-loop exact.
Explicit form of leading irrelevant operators is obtained.
Results generalize previous SU(2) findings to SU(N).
Abstract
Following the work of Dine and Seiberg for SU(2), we study the leading irrelevant operators on the moduli space of N=4 supersymmetric SU(N) gauge theory. These operators are argued to be one-loop exact, and are explicitly computed.
