Branes and Vector-like Supersymmetry Breaking Theories with Gauged Global Symmetry
Jiro Hashiba

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a specific brane configuration related to a supersymmetry breaking model contains inconsistencies, indicating the existence of a stable vacuum where supersymmetry is dynamically broken.
Contribution
It reveals that the brane setup for the IYIT model with gauged U(1) symmetry leads to supersymmetry breaking due to geometric inconsistencies.
Findings
Inconsistent geometry in the brane configuration
Existence of a stable supersymmetry-breaking vacuum
Implications for models with gauged global symmetries
Abstract
We show that the brane configuration describing the Izawa-Yanagida-Intriligator-Thomas (IYIT) model with gauged U(1) subgroup of the global symmetry contains inconsistent geometry, implying that there exists a stable vacuum where supersymmetry is dynamically broken.
