Magnetic monopole solutions with a massive dilaton
Peter Forgacs, Jozsef Gyurusi

TL;DR
This paper investigates static, spherically symmetric monopole solutions in a spontaneously broken SU(2) gauge theory coupled with a massive dilaton, analyzing how the solutions depend on the dilaton's coupling strength and mass.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of monopole solutions considering the effects of a massive dilaton, which is a novel extension of previous models.
Findings
Monopole solutions vary significantly with dilaton coupling strength.
The dilaton mass influences the monopole's properties and stability.
New solution classes emerge for different dilaton parameters.
Abstract
Static, spherically symmetric monopole solutions of a spontaneously broken SU(2) gauge theory coupled to a massive dilaton field are studied in detail in function of the dilaton coupling strength and of the dilaton mass.
