Graviton scattering in an M-orientifold background
Ulf H. Danielsson, Par Stjernberg, Martin Kruczenski

TL;DR
This paper investigates graviton scattering in an eleven-dimensional M-orientifold background, comparing supergravity and M(atrix) model results, and finds exact agreement including nonlinear effects.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed comparison between supergravity and M(atrix) model calculations for graviton scattering in this specific background.
Findings
Supergravity and M(atrix) model results agree exactly.
Nonlinear three graviton effects are crucial for accurate scattering calculations.
The study confirms the validity of the M(atrix) model in complex backgrounds.
Abstract
In this paper we study the scattering of gravitons off a five orientifold in eleven dimensions. We compare the supergravity result with a two loop M(atrix) model calculation and find exact agreement. The supergravity calculation involves nonlinear three graviton effects.
