Couplings between generalized gauge fields
J. Antonio Garcia, Bernard Knaepen

TL;DR
This paper investigates the BRST field-antifield framework for generalized gauge fields in mixed Lorentz representations, deriving all gauge-invariant interactions characterized by higher derivatives of field strength curls.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive calculation of all strictly gauge-invariant, higher-derivative interactions for generalized gauge fields within the BRST formalism.
Findings
All gauge-invariant interactions are higher derivative terms.
Interactions are constructed from derivatives of the curl of field strength.
The analysis applies to massless mixed Lorentz representations.
Abstract
We analyze the BRST field-antifield construction for generalized gauge fields consisting of massless mixed representations of the Lorentz Group and we calculate all the strictly gauge invariant interactions between them. All these interactions are higher derivative terms constructed out from the derivatives of the curl of field strength.
