TL;DR
This paper discovers new intersecting NS-5-brane solutions in IIA supergravity with specific angle configurations, extending understanding of brane intersections and their supersymmetry properties across string theories.
Contribution
It introduces novel solutions for intersecting NS-5-branes at specific angles in IIA supergravity, with implications for related IIB and M-theory configurations.
Findings
New supergravity solutions with NS-5-branes at Sp(2)-angles
Supersymmetry preserved at least 3/32
Analysis of related IIB and M-theory configurations
Abstract
We find new solutions of IIA supergravity which have the interpretation of intersecting NS-5-branes at -angles on a string preserving at least 3/32 of supersymmetry. We show that the relative position of every pair of NS-5-branes involved in the superposition is determined by four angles. In addition we explore the related configurations in IIB strings and M-theory.
