The Abelian Antighost Equation for The Standard Model in the `t Hooft-Background Gauge
Pietro Antonio Grassi (Munich, Max-Planck Inst.)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the Abelian Anti-ghost equation within the Standard Model using the 't Hooft-Background gauge, demonstrating its role in ensuring ghost field non-renormalization and anomaly prevention.
Contribution
It establishes the non-renormalization of abelian ghost fields and the absence of abelian anomalies through the Abelian Anti-ghost equation in this gauge.
Findings
Non-renormalization of abelian ghost fields
Prevention of abelian anomalies
Validation of the Abelian Anti-ghost equation's role
Abstract
In this paper we study the Abelian Anti-ghost equation for the Standard Model quantized in the 't Hooft-Background gauge. We show that this equation assures the non-renormalization of the abelian ghost fields and prevents possible abelian anomalies.
