C.M. Hull (Queen Mary College London), B. Julia (ENS Paris)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the dimensional reduction of supergravity, string, and M-theories on tori with a time-like circle, identifying the scalar coset spaces and duality groups involved.
Contribution
It characterizes the scalar moduli spaces and duality groups arising from time-like compactifications, extending understanding of supergravity and string theory reductions.
Findings
Identified the coset spaces for massless scalars.
Determined the discrete duality groups.
Analyzed the structure of time-like reductions.
Abstract
We consider the dimensional reduction/compactification of supergravity, string and M-theories on tori with one time-like circle. We find the coset spaces in which the massless scalars take their values, and identify the discrete duality groups.
