G. Curio, D. Lust

TL;DR
This paper constructs new three-dimensional N=1 supersymmetric superstring vacua using U-duality symmetries, involving compactification on Calabi-Yau 5-folds with specific fibrations, and analyzes their massless spectra and brane configurations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel class of superstring vacua derived from U-duality symmetries and Calabi-Yau 5-fold compactifications with specific fibrations, expanding the landscape of supersymmetric solutions.
Findings
Identification of massless multiplets via Hodge spectrum
Description of associated 5-brane configurations
Construction of vacua from formal 13-dimensional compactification
Abstract
Making use of non-perturbative U-duality symmetries of type II strings we construct new `superstring' vacua in three dimensions with N=1 supersymmetry. This has an interpretation as compactifying formally from 13 dimensions (S-theory) on Calabi-Yau 5-folds possessing a fibration. We describe some part of the massless multiplets, given by the Hodge spectrum, and point to a corresponding 5-brane configuration.
