Matrix Model for Yang-Mills Interactions
Jacek Pawe{\l}czyk

TL;DR
This paper introduces a supersymmetric matrix model linking Yang-Mills interactions, topological strings, and two-dimensional Yang-Mills theory, providing new insights into the large N limit and light-cone gauge dynamics.
Contribution
It presents a novel matrix model with supersymmetry that connects topological string theory and 2D Yang-Mills, offering new perspectives on gauge theories and their large N behavior.
Findings
Establishes a relation between the matrix model and topological YM2.
Provides a new understanding of the limit in gauge theories.
Proposes a quantum matrix theory for light-cone gauge dynamics.
Abstract
We introduce a matrix model with supersymmetries and show its relation to the topological rigid string and the topological YM. This allows to connect the latter two theories directly. Moreover the construction leads to a new insight in the \ninfty limit. Finally a quantum mechanical matrix theory is proposed which may describe light-cone (light-front) dynamics of gauge fields.
