Instantons on noncommutative R^4, and (2,0) superconformal six dimensional theory
N. Nekrasov, A. Schwarz

TL;DR
This paper explores the moduli space of instantons on noncommutative R^4, linking it to D-brane configurations and the (2,0) superconformal theory, revealing new geometric and physical insights.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the instanton moduli space on noncommutative R^4 can be understood through D-brane bound states and as a regularized target space for (2,0) superconformal theories.
Findings
Moduli space of ideal instantons parameterizes instantons on noncommutative R^4.
This space arises as a Higgs branch of D0-D4 brane systems with B-field.
It provides a regularized target space for supersymmetric quantum mechanics in six dimensions.
Abstract
We show that the resolution of moduli space of ideal instantons parameterizes the instantons on non-commutative . This moduli space appears as a Higgs branch of the theory of -branes bound to -branes by the expectation value of the field. It also appears as a regularized version of the target space of supersymmetric quantum mechanics arising in the light cone description of superconformal theories in six dimensions.
