A comment on the $R^4$-coupling in (M)atrix Theory
Marco Serone

TL;DR
This paper discusses how an $R^4$ correction in eleven-dimensional supergravity might influence the five-loop effective Lagrangian of two moving D0-branes within Matrix theory, based on scaling arguments.
Contribution
It provides a theoretical analysis linking $R^4$-terms in supergravity to higher-loop corrections in Matrix theory, offering insights into quantum gravity effects.
Findings
$R^4$-term affects five-loop D0-brane interactions
Scaling arguments connect supergravity corrections to Matrix theory
Predicted corrections could be observable in effective Lagrangian
Abstract
By scaling arguments we show that the presence of a -term in the eleven dimensional supergravity effective lagrangian, if it is visible in (M)atrix theory, should produce a correction to the five-loops effective lagrangian of two moving D0-branes.
